Day of Memory (1/19/2018)

On Jan. 19, 1887, Yin Renxian, a distinguished civil servant and Christian educator, was born in Hunan. After graduating from Harvard, in 1924, Yin married Columbia graduate, Ding Suyun, the daughter of famous evangelist Ding Limei. The death of their first son led them from nominal faith to a true walk with the Lord and an active ministry to the families of the government officials with whom Yin worked. In 1943 they founded a Christian school that lasted only a few years due to the communist takeover. She passed away in 1955 and he in 1964. Pray for Christians in government to trust God in all things. Prov. 3:5-6
