Day of Memory (2/13/2018)

On Feb. 13, 1306, John of Montecorvino wrote a letter from Beijing describing the progress of Roman Catholic mission among the Mongols and others in Yuan China. John built the first Catholic Church in China in 1299 and in the letter reported 6,000 converts, but Catholic and Nestorian missions work ended with the fall of the Yuan in 1368. Pray for Christians to let their light shine so as to bring glory to the Heavenly Father. Matthew 5:16
