On July 28, 1974, PRC forces killed a number of Miao Christians who had been worshipping in a cave at the Xinglong Commune (兴隆公社) in Weining County, Guizhou. Among those killed were evangelist Zhang Youxue, and his two sons Zhang Mingcai and Zhang Ming’an. China’s 9.4 million Miao (Hmong) speak more than 80 dialects, with 30 not intelligible to each other and many still unwritten. Great numbers have come to Christ, but many sub-groups remain unreached. Pray for the Holy Spirit to bring glory to the Savior as more Miao are reached with the gospel. 2 Thessalonians 2:14
